DESCRIPTION:Participants who are unemployed and Christians who would l
 ike to learn to be effective mentors are teaming up in Work&Learn clas
 ses on Tuesday nights in New London. On March 31, 2015, 45 people atte
 nded.\nPastors are there to help individual participants change career
 s, get a job and succeed in their jobs.\nSome of the participants are 
 unemployed, some are under-employed, and some are employed but want a 
 new career. Participants do not have to be Christian.\nSome of the men
 tors are taking the three-month course themselves to get further \"on-
 the-job\" training as a mentor. \nEach week a different pastor teache
 s the Biblical values employers are looking for. The mentors then lead
  small groups that discuss the week's topic. Then career specialists t
 each the soft skills required to get and succeed in a job. Everyone on
  the Support Team and in the organization is a volunteer called by the
  Lord to help neighbors who are unemployed.\nCall 860-501-9675 (24 hou
