We invite you to become a member of our all-volunteer team helping someone who is unemployed turn his or her life in a new direction. You choose whom you work with.

We meet one night each week with participants.

You can just be a friend to encourage participants and graduates.

As a jobs advisor, help participants assess their interests and skills, set exciting and realistic job objectives, prepare resumes, do practice interviews, network and make contacts to become employed.

As a mentor, lead small group discussions and be a good listener while participants describe how the spiritual principle being taught applies in their own lives and work.

As a pastor, recommend someone in your church's pews or outreach who needs help to become a reliable employee and a strong church member. Be an instructor for one hour twice a year for your favorite topic among the Biblical lessons. Encourage and back up your lay leaders to be a mentors and disciplers. Form a support group within your church for members seeking employment.

As an employer, teach in one of our classes the attributes that make for success in your business. Give a practice interview or an informational interview to a participant who wants to go into a field similar to yours. Hire a graduate in your business and assign a buddy to help him learn the ropes.

As a volunteer, tutor someone in GED, computer skills, or literacy. Help with transportation to the class or to appointments. Serve refreshments or a light meal. Help recruit participants. Stay in close touch with one of the graduates.

As a donor, provide financial support to the ministry.
